Why is AAC Important?

AAC creates possibilities for those who are in the process of becoming a symbolic communicator and aided language user.

AAC provides opportunities for those who have suddenly or progressively lost their ability to speak.

AAC promotes access for those who could not previously interact and socialize the way they want to.

Why is Inclusive Education Important?

Inclusive education means all children have the right to be part of a community of learners. The only way that can happen is if children have access to language. For the children who require alternative forms of language representation, (sign, graphic, orthographic), becoming a successful learner means having access to words that allow them to communicate and think across contexts and people.

Inside/Outside

On the inside, I walk
On the outside, I give
On the outside, I am mute
On the outside, I give
On the inside, I speak
On the inside, I walk
